Happy Halloween!

Scotland seemed to love his costume. He wore it on two different occassions (Ward party, and Madsen’s party.) We’ll see maybe I’ll take him out once more for our delayed trick-or-treating day. (He actually begged me to let him wear the pants today just for fun.) He got a real kick out of the huge feet, and I think enjoyed all the smiles he got when he wore it. Tom and I certainly couldn’t get enough of him.
The youth in our ward threw a halloween party that featured games in several rooms in the church. Scotland quickly caught on to the trend: “Play a game, get some candy!” He was particularly fond of pumpkin bowling, and the bean bag toss. He likes to throw. Scotter is such a funny kid. He has this quiet observational manner. At both parties he was happy to walk around and observe what was going on, occassionarly jumping in on the action- be it stealing cupcakes from the table or playing with the kids. He would on occasion check in with Tom or I, but was generally fine to be solo.

Notice that Scotter is helping Teddy poise in this picture. (Teddy is now a HUGE part of Scotter’s life- he does everything with him.)

Happy Days anyone?

And here’s our ferocious dragon squashing teddy below his massive weight.
