Last Friday, Tom was working nights so Scotter and I hit the town with our friend Claire. She likes to call Scotland “Boyfriend.” Scotland really took to it! He sat by her the whole night, and even held her hand as we went for a walk afterwards. (Something he never does with Tom nor I.) We enjoyed ice cream at Sweet Fry! It was so fun to see Scotland in this situation. He was quiet at first but quickly warmed up and started chatting along with us, and even cheering with his arms punching the air at one point!

We took advantage of Free Day at the zoo last Monday. Scotland was particularly enamored by the monkeys. 

But the super long boardwalk was a close second:

A week and a half ago or so I got a surprise text from my dear friend Shani- the whole Law family was going to be in town from Washington! They stopped by for the morning and we chatted away the hours. It was so crazy to see how grown her kids were, and to have her chilling at my house as opposed to the opposite. I was so touched that they would take time out of their busy travel schedule to drop in on me. I love you Laws!
