Wednesday we had our first rehearsal with the stage director. At one point he had me and another woman carrying a bench across the stage. He then stopped us, and said to me in his thick French accent. “You will now set down the bench and sit for a bit because you are. . . (he motions to my stomach, then looks down and realizing he is unsure). . . because you are tired.”

I should have just helped the guy out and told him, I was indeed pregnant!
