So don’t be alarmed if you’ve already heard that several times in the past few months and have yet seen little progress. I believe this time I can say it in earnest. The home repairs are going to be getting checked off en masse thanks to a determined and available young gal. As you may know it’s taken me a bit to accrue a method of motivation for restarting this long list of manual labor. Too many weekends spent doing intellectual things in academic areas has softened me, but alas I’m returning to my farming roots!

Each week I fill my calendar with my daily assigned tasks. Today: remove wallpaper from green room. Based on our most frequent “walk-through,” (where we write down every minor/major thing that needs to be fixed, repaired, purchased for this home.) I should have a full schedule until- well, hopefully the middle of February.
