Who knew there was a beach in Cleveland?

When Tom told me a couple of years ago that there was a great beach in Cleveland, I didn’t believe him. Well he proved me wrong. We went to Mentor Headlands for the first time last fall with Cassie and Doug. Yesterday we went again with the girls. It was sunny and beautiful- a perfect beach day. The girls packed a picnic lunch, we swam, flew the kite, played in the sand, and all got burnt.

Breck immediately ran into the water. This girl knows how to have a good time!

Tom is definitely the best uncle I have ever seen. He played in the water with Breck, made sand castles with Tali, helped us all fly the kite, and laughed and laughed as the girls told stories while we picnic-ed.

Brecklyn has really grown since she’s been here. Must be all the rain!

On our way back home we stopped by Kirtland, so Tali could see the Temple. Brecklyn remembered that the temple was green- because of these gorgeous green doors.
