"I'm in love with a wonderful guy!"

This week is opera production week, which means I have had rehearsals from 7:30-11:00 every night from last Thursday to this SundTom's the gourmet soup maker!ay.
Tom and I often decide what we want to eat for the week’s dinners on Saturdays so we make sure we have the ingredients we need. This week, I confessed to Tom I would not have any time to cook. Of course he didn’t care (in fact he usually looks at me strangely, as if to say: is that your responsibility?) instead he took it upon himself. Sunday he made his delicious red sauce, and Tuesday he made this fantastic tasting, and gourmet looking French onion soup.He even toasted the bread that he put on top and broiled the cheese! He picked up and washed the dishes both nights- as I had to rush off to rehearsal. Monday while I was gone, he fixed by bike tire. Saturday while I was at rehearsal he made the gravy that I had signed up to make for the Ward Thanksgiving dinner. I could continue. I am so grateful to have a husband who is so capable and willing, anFrench onion soupd more importantly- who does it all so cheerfully!
