Here’s my question: How do you know when your body actually needs sleep, and when you just feel like being lazy. Perhaps because I am semi-done but the last few days I have felt like I could sleep all day. Both yesterday and today we came home from seminary and slept a few more hours and yet I was still falling asleep later in the day while I was studying.

I attended my first book club ever tonight, and loved it. It was so nice to get to know some of the women in the ward that I have wanted to get to know more and to talk about serious things. Due to my schedule I haven’t been able to go to many of the Relief Society functions or even ward activities, and so my interactions with most of the women is the “Hi, how are you” types in the hall, or before Relief Society starts. I hope I can continue to go in the future. I set a goal to make reading a bigger part of my summer, and this was the perfect motivation. I want to be one of those people who can say, “Have you read this book? Oh I love that book!” I love the idea of being able to find at least one thing in common with every person. I think books are a great way to widen that circle of commonality.

The last few days have been a bit frustrating. I haven’t used my time as efficiently as I would like because I really want to start back up on the house, but I know I really need to toe the line for the next week until my finals are over. I have spent way to much time trying to figure out how I could do both, and then end up taking the time I might have had! Tomorrow I have the entire day free from after Seminary to a Relief Society April Birthday bash that night. Hopefully I can wrap up my french and italian studying, and then memorize my songs for jazz history while I finish priming the pantry!

I rearranged the kitchen, and put up our Mexican plate and another painting. It looks much better. I also reorganized the cabinets over our baking counter, moving items that we don’t use very often to the small pantry in the kitchen. It looks much cleaner and everything is more accessible. (I love the idea that you should never have to remove one thing to get another.)

I’ve determined that I will not start another project until I have finished the ones I already have.

I pulled out my summer clothes and got put away the winter ones! I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe!
