I blog for my family. I realize there are a few friends in Cleveland that check from time to time, and a few friends from H.S. the keep tabs on me, but primarily it is my family who checks daily to see what I might have posted- and it is for them that I try to be regular in my updates. Hence, the last two weeks have been weak in blog post, well void of them. Why? Because I was with them! It was so wonderful to spent time with my parents and siblings and nieces and nephews. It was a wild time with all 25 of us crowding one house, but we had a great time. Memories include late night canasta, goodwill shopping with my Mom and sisters, lots of cooking and eating and more eating, powerful testimonies born by my father, watching my youngest sister (Dantzel, 7) play in a violin trio at church, hearing all my nieces and nephews play their various instruments- three violins, guitar, and piano, watching the 3 two year-olds running around and learning to talk and play together, a snow ball fight with Tom, deep conversations led by Derek and general delightful chaos.
I was raised in a large family and I love it. Some people I know that grew up in large family grew to hate all the noise and commotion, but I love it. I love the mixed ages and various life stages that accumulate from a family that large. I love that my youngest sister is looking forward to baptism while my oldest sister is looking forward to her fifth child. I’m glad that I can laugh and be silly with my 13 year old sister, Adalee, while I can talk politics and religion with my older brother Trevor. I’m glad Brigette and I can still enjoy shopping for shoes, earrings, and other great deals. As I see it being part of a large family just means I have a larger group of permanent friends. We will never loose each others addresses- we won’t fade apart and we certainly won’t forget each other. I love my family. Here’s some pictures from our Family Picture session:
My second oldest brother Trevor and his wife Lauren, and sons Bryce and Dallin
Then comes me, and Tom
Then my younger, but not littler brother Devin
Then my sister Adalee
And last but not least, Dantzel (Who wasn’t in the picture taking mood that day.)
So there you have it that’s the whole crazy bunch!

Great pictures, thanks for posting. Holly Cow I look like I’m a dwarf. Haha. Oh well, I don’t really care as long as the people viewing your blog aren’t 17-20 year old girls.
Love ya
OOOH, lucky you guys to get your WHOLE family together! I enjoyed seeing all the picts. I hope to look up Brigette. I’m sorry our paths didn’t cross in ML!! totally bummed…but enjoy Cleavland.
I love that we have a new family photo. However, the photographer should’ve told me I looked HUGE!! Turn to the side is the new lesson learned for me.
