I grouted yesterday and now the shower floor looks like this!
Sneak peak of the other side of the bathroom. The mirror is just the 45 minute installation process away of being put in. There really isn’t a lot of counter space- something I realized mostly yesterday when I put it in there. . . ooops. I still love the look, and think it will help us stay minimal.
The small tiles stacked there will go on the ceiling of the shower.
Before you say: “But Kjirsti, you already showed us this.” let me explain that a lot of work went into this picture. After the sound advice of my dear friend Mary, I decided to caulk and mud the majority of the seams down here. It was a lot of work, but the results made it worth it. The carpet guys come to lay the carpet on Thursday!!! I can’t wait.
This is really more of a “before” shot. Though these walls are freshly painted. and the trim is also painted.
At times I get a bit frustrated by the lack of home improvement that I am actually moving a long. I looked at my geranium this morning and thought, I just need to appreciate the small home improvement projects more. When I returned from our trip to Europe, this geranium was pretty much dead. The leaves were all yellow. Now only a month later, after much care and attention it has returned to its verdant self. It even has a couple buds coming.
