We thought we were just going to have the basement ceiling patched, but instead they completely re-did it which is beautiful!!!!!

Same goes for the unfinished side of the basement.

However, I must add, before they could put up this ceiling, any and all electrical work that we wanted to do down here had to be done. So my ever hard working Tom spent several nights down here (After working 12 hour days) adding two new outlets, a new light, wiring the light to the second pantry, and adding a light switch. Amazing! These are not beautiful pictures but represent a lot of hard work and a GREAT improvement down there- no more wondering around in the dark feeling for pull strings.

A new four outlet so I can move my ironing board in here, and run the dehumidifier without tripping over the wire on the way to the food pantry.
