This is the current project:
Though, so as not to give myself too much credit today, we removed the jungle-lush shag years ago. But the just as tropical wallpaper remained- as did the less the desirable-shade of yellow blind.
So far it looks like this:
Wall paper removed, this room revealed many more necessary repairs than our Master bedroom. You may or maynot be able to tell that under the window there has been some water damage and the plaster is buckling a little. I”m hoping to just secure it to the lath a little tightly, but I may need to replace that chunk with drywall. Then there are all the “Charles holes” to deal with. (I won’t go into that.)
My major concern is what I should do in the areas where the green paint came off. Should I just sand down the transitions well? or do I need to fill it in with mud?
Next step: clean walls, patch, prime, and paint!
