I keep debating whether it is worth trying to stain the bed. I like the natural wood color, but I think it would look better in the context of the room if it was mahogany. What say ye?

Notice the lovely light fixture. We love that fan in the summer time. But man is it hideous. Any suggestions?

The genealogy tree

I was thrilled to find this big basket at Goodwill. We throw the pillows in there at night.

Here’s a picture of the orange wreath. I plan to buy one of those small wood shelves under neath with a few nicknaks, maybe some letter blocks that say “Joy” or something.  On the chest of drawers, I want to get a big vase of fake flowers to fill in the corner

Here’s the vanity corner. Ideally I think I would add some other frames and decorative items around the mirror, so it is part of a collage, as I feel it looks a little lonely as is. I also feel like I need some taller objects on the sides to fill in the space between the chest of drawers and the mirror. Any ideas?

This was another delightful Goodwill find. I keep my bobby pins and hair ties in here. I’m generally not a fan of having this sort of stuff out, but in this adorable little dish, I love it.  Not to mention it is much more convenient.
