Fresh Paint in the kitchen

It took me a week, but I finally finished painting the kitchen. There are still a few small touch ups that are needed but for the large part I am finished. We’re very happy with the results. Here are a few photos:

Take note of that beautiful door. See the post below for a before look. This door was so shotty when we moved in that all the contractors told us to just replace it. But we were determined and I think the end result is rather nice!
Obviously the next job is to replace the linoleum. But that we’ll have to wait for another long break.
Notice I decided to paint the dropped ceiling bit- the same color as the ceiling. I debated this quite a bit and figured doing it this way was the safest option and the easiest to paint over. I like it, but I think it would have been very pretty the other way too. I still have more paint if I decide to change it!

What do you call this space? I am always referring to it oddly. It’s a sort of foyer-no, hall way- not quite, hmmm. Please notice that there are four doors/doorways in this picture. Right behind you are two more doors, and of course there is the door in the first two pictures. That makes 7 sets of trim- sigh! I feel like I painted this only room with a brush! So much for those handy, time effecient rollers.

I wish the pictures would give this color more accuracy. It looks more pastel here than it does in real life. It has a much golder undertone and at times looks tan-ish. The color is Bronzed Beige by Benjamin Moore.
