A friend of my mentioned that her garden was being tormented by small beasts. Perhaps I shouldn’t speak too soon, but so far, my garden has been critter free- except for plenty of insect annoyance- due to this handy-dandy little barrier. Here’s what I did:
Using some common wood stakes and poultry fencing, I cut the poultry fencing in half and stabled it to the stakes. It’s not the most attractive fencing option but hey, I can easily remove it and roll up the poultry fencing come winter, and reuse it next year. Plus, it wasn’t too pricey. We’ll see if it holds up once my tomato plants are yielding lusty red fruits!
