Grower to Grower

Wow! I can’t believe I already have another “Grower to Grower” to share. This time I’m featuring Terri. Terri, too, was a forced slave as a child, by that I mean her parents owned an acre and a half garden. Despite her constant proclamations on the contrary as a little girl, she now “LOVES” gardening.

As you can see Terri is growing radishes, green onions, carrots, dill, bell peppers and broccoli. (I must add that she added, “so far” in her message. Yup, she’s got the bug, pretty soon she’ll find herself ordering package upon package of seeds!)

She just transplanted them today. My question, Terri, is: where do you houses your pots inside? Or do you just move them in at night?

I’m assuming from  her message, that this is a cantalope, but correct me if I’m wrong. She said they enjoyed two cantaloupes last year. I’ve yet to grow anything that large. But I’m looking forward to trying to grow some things up this year.

Terri’s green onions and lemon balm survived from last year.
Don’t Terri’s seedlings look so green and inviting. I can’t wait to see them grow and produce. Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted!
My sage, lavender, lemon thyme, and oregano are looking good. My rhubarb is also back for year two. Though I’m not sure if my rosemary is going to resurrect. What herbs did you have over winter? Perennials? Any unfortunate casualties? Did anybody plant garlic last fall? (I planted some garlic I bought at Aldi, I think it’s actually coming up, though who knows if it will produce, as it wasn’t intended for planting.)
