Rainboots

I’m seriously considering purchasing a pair of Hunter rainboots. I bought a pair of Sperry’s two years ago, and they have a three inch crack down one side- and look terrible. I’m moving to Seattle, maybe it’s time. The trick is: what color?
Should I go for the classic – goes with everything black:

Or the I need more color in my life, I don’t take myself too seriously flame or yellow?

These boots boast a hefty price tag, so I want to get something I can wear and wear forever. The black seems the obvious choice, especially since I don’t have black winter shoes, but then they seem so drab next to these colorful beauties! What do you say?

  1. A year ago I’d have said to stick with the versatile black. I’ve had a color epiphany in the last year, though, and decided that I don’t HAVE to be completely versatile with everything. Personally, I still wouldn’t go with one of the super bold colors, but just something not black. I might go with the lagoon (teal), steel blue, or graphite (because I’m obsessed with gray and it’s still really neutral), probably the teal. Good luck, and have fun deciding!!

  2. Thanks Janelle! Funny how we all fluctuate between our progressive and conservative natures!
Devin- Red!? I love how Europe taught you a love for color!
