Sooo. . . Costco has a set of white dinnerware for 10 that they are selling for $60.00. They are Mikasa Porcelain dishes with a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, mug and silverware. I don’t need or want the silverware. But the rest- $60.00 for a 4 piece place setting for 10 is a steal. It caught my eye as I walked down the aisle. I stopped. Looked at it. Took a few pieces out of the box. Then walked away. I talked myself out of buying white dishes. My dishes are working just fine. Hmmm.
Maybe white dishes are just meant to be in a different stage of life? But the same set is selling on Amazon for $160. Oh goodness, why can’t I make decisions?
I did buy an immersion blender at Costco for $20.00 which I am SUPER excited about. Think: smooth soup in one pot, milkshakes, smoothies in a cup. It even has a chopper attachement. LOVE!
Oh, and I bought a hairdryer. Let me tell you hair dryers have really advanced since mine was made. I have been using a travel size hairdryer that I picked up second hand since I moved away from home and couldn’t use my Mom’s anymore. Seriously- $17.00 has never bought a more substantial upgrade.
