To fulfill the photography challenge for my Photography club I headed back to Thistledown Race Tracks to work on my action shots. My friend Jen and her son Cody joined us. It was a gorgeous day. Since it wasn’t a derby day, there were fewer people then when we went before. Which was nice. I just love that I can drive ten minutes park my car and walk a few paces and watch these majestic horses all for free. Watching them made me miss my Mom and younger sisters. How I wish they could have joined me. Someday.

I have to pick one for our club. Which do you like best? I love how the first conveys how neck and neck this race was. I love the vivid blue against the blurred green. But I think the second one conveys more movement.
