About a month ago I discovered that Cleveland has a racing track, and that’s its a mere ten minutes from our house. Today was the Ohio Derby, so we decided to have a little family fun and head out to the races!
Scotland wondering why so many people drink and smoke while watching horses run.
It was a “first” for all three of us. We enjoyed learning a little more about the culture of horse racing. I was also excited to use the opportunity to practice my action shots. We only stayed for three races. I took pictures for the first two and Tom for the third. He definitely won out for “best shot” – the middle one above. I’m planning on going back again soon to practice my panning.
