This morning I walked by CIM on my way to the Botanical Gardens. Seeing the school immersed in spring splendor brought back memories of a year ago when I graduated from there. I smirked thinking how much my life changed my life since then. Last May I had no idea that in one year’s time I would be pushing a stroller to meet other mom friends at the botanical garden. I had no idea that a little boy would fill my life with joy and new meaning. I have changed so much in the past year, experienced so much. I can’t help but smile when I picture in my minds eye the Kjirsti of yesteryear. I have no regrets, I don’t miss her or want to be her. I’m happy where I am, but I’m also very glad that I had those years to be that Kjirsti. Life is a beautiful thing.

I was just remembering that last Mother’s Day weekend I was at your house for the first time eating delicious scones and parfaits made by Sabina and laughing with all of your great friends. That was such a fun weekend. I wish we all lived closer.
