Family Fun-

Tom had a more flexible week last week, so we took advantage of it and headed to the Children’s museum for the first time. Scotland was mostly entranced by two different ramps they had, but I was impressed by the assortment of activities available. He’s still a bit young for some of it- there’s a lot of imagination, dress up- type activities, but it was a nice safe, friendly place to hang out. And I liked the variety of enriching activities. We got a pass- I need some more rainy day options! ‘=

A gorgeous nest build right out our sunroom windows.

Scotland LOVES playing outdoors, rain, sun, or cold. Here he is with a small stick, digging in the dirt.

Blowing dandelions. I never expected Scotland would be giving me gifts at this age. He’ll often come running when I join him outside, a dandelion pushed out towards me.

TWO sticks- poor daisy!

This year I got several loads of the free Shaker mulch. I’ve loved the uniformity it offers the garden. I really need to go get another big load. My back is begging me not to!

  1. Talk about curb appeal. Your gardens look amazing. I love Scotland’s head sticking up within the shrubbery in the last picture.

  2. I love how pretty and Better Homes and Gardenish (I just made that up) your home looks. So inspiring!
