Yesterday we had a little party for Scotland. Six of his buddies came over to play with balloons, blocks, cars, and animals, while their parents munched and chatted. Scotland and I are both still sick so it wasn’t the liveliest party ever, but I think a good time was still had by all. He didn’t actually do the cake thing at his party (he started bawling when a friend shrieked when he reached to grab the flame on the candle, and I grabbed his hand) so we did it this morning.
