Last night I attended an awards and honors night. I was selected to receive the Ruth Cogan Memorial Scholarship Award. It is specifically for a graduating senior who has dedicated time to the Otto B Schoepfle Vocal Arts Center (OBSVAC), the voice lab that I have been working at the last three years. I was thrilled to be so honored, and even more enthused to find the award included $1,500. That will certainly help pay for my tuition bill come fall!
