Today was one of those idealic days.
- Scotland and I enjoyed an early morning nap in my bed.
- We got up went for a run, and I got to see one of my favorite gardens.
- I made a new whole wheat bread recipe and it turned out fabulous. It might be “the one.”
- Scotland went down for each of his naps without a fuss.
- I finally hung all the frames in his room- now I just need to decide what to put in them.
- I talked to my sister and a friend on the phone.
- It was cool and breezy and I kept all the windows open all day- closing them occasionally when it decided to downpour.
- I made pasta al forno, and enjoyed it with Tom for dinner.
- I spent a few moments perusing “House Beautiful.”
- I took a nap with Tom.
- I sang, and then rehearsed for a performance I have this Friday.
- I read several chapters in my book.
- I cleaned up.
- I had a lovely scripture study session.
- A friend dropped off the most amazing rhubarb-strawberry pie, which made the perfect FHE treat.
- And to top it all off Scotland rolled over four times!
I have so much to be grateful for.

Are you willing to share the whole wheat bread recipe? Sounds good.
Just click on where it says “Bread Recipe” in blue, that should take you to the King Arthur site where I found it. I’m planning on making another batch tomorrow- it even makes great sandwich bread!
